Purchased this tent for camping by car/bike, this tent is light and small packed but for me too heavy for long trekking's/hikes.
The overall design is great, very well thought out and functional, self standing up-to medium winds (not using the guidelines).
It is great to have two doors and two porches in this price category.
The size is "exactly" 2P (sleep/dress) with 2x luggage in the porches, or 1P luxury space, not for taller people over 2m.
The top pole widens the headroom inside and steepens the porch walls nicely.
Inner tent design is visually nice, yellow and green bands with black mesh.
Inside two medium/small sized mesh pockets & attach point in the roof and a clothes line, complete enough.
Fly material nice quality and looks, similar/same as the Forclaz tent fly I think.
Inner tent material standard/average fabric, visual finish OK.
2 big ventilation mesh windows and 2 smaller ones in the doors, top part has enough mesh/ventilation, bottom none so I keep the door-zipper a little bit open for some airflow (and bugs..).
Doors are 1/3 mesh and single-sheet: You cannot open the open the doors and keep just a mesh layer closed, open door means fresh air AND bugs..
Floor material standard black polyester, feels thick enough for normal use in camping on grass, forest, sand, snow.
Overall sewing is of "minimal required" type, long runs good, corner finish a little rougher, minor reinforcements at some tensions points but not at guideline connection points.
Note that for the price of this tent I am fully OK with the sewing, no real problems found, my sewing opinion is based on comparing with much more expensive tents.
Seams look good and closed with the wide thermo-glued bands.
Zippers feel good enough, I did not expect better ones, not tested in long term.
Guidelines average, not UL, good visible in daylight.
Wind resistance only tested in medium wind (OK) and no leaking in floor or fly: only tested in low rainfall on grass & forest floor.
Nice to have the option to use as tarp-tent or only inner tent but only if weight is no issue: As a tarp-tent it would still be 1.5Kg compared to a 600gr real tarp folded into a tarp-tent.
It takes me about 5 minutes for complete setup on my own, including guidelines and with inner tent already connected to the fly, very easy setup.
Folding it back took some more effort (same time), in the end it fits easily in the bag again.
For the price of this tent it scores high points in all category's, perhaps a little heavy but when that is no issue it is really a very fine tent.
As this is a new design there is not much information on long-term usage but the materials feel OK to me, will survive many trips.
I would buy it again and advise it to friends, great festival tent too: much better and stronger than most cheap nylon domes, even when guidelines not used.
